Romero's journey to the Valkyries began with the Phoenix Suns and Mercury organizations, where she spent over two decades. Her most recent role was as Team Travel & Logistics Manager for Player 15 Group, overseeing all travel arrangements for the Suns. Before that, she made history in 2016 as the NBA's first female Equipment Manager, a role she held for six years. Romero's impressive career also includes a 15-year stint with the Mercury, where she managed team activities and assisted the coaching staff.
With a Bachelor's degree in tourism and recreation management from Arizona State University, Romero brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to the Valkyries.
