Justin Rose made history in the TGL league on Tuesday night, leaving Tiger Woods stunned. Rose achieved an albatross on the 533-yard par-five 10th hole at the SoFi Centre, securing a two-point lead for the Los Angeles Golf Club over Woods' Jupiter Links Golf Club. This was Rose's first albatross in his career and the first in TGL history. The feat sparked wild celebrations from his teammates, including PGA Tour stars Sahith Theegala and Collin Morikawa. Woods, a co-owner of the Jupiter Links team and founder of TGL, embraced Rose after the impressive shot. The match ended with Los Angeles winning 8-4, marking Woods' second loss of the 2026 season. Rose is set to play in The American Express in La Quinta this week, where he will be joined by Scottie Scheffler for the first round on Thursday at 5:14 pm GMT. However, he will miss the Dubai Invitational on the DP World Tour, opting to participate in the PGA Tour event instead. TGL is an indoor simulator golf league featuring top players, with matches taking place at the SoFi Centre in Florida. It was co-founded by Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, with a focus on high-tech simulation and a live audience. The league features six teams, each with four players, and follows a unique format with 'Trebles' and 'Singles' holes. Teams earn points based on their performance, with playoffs in March determining the league's overall winner and a $21 million purse.
